If you want plenty of space, a rural location, stunning views and great kiwi hospitality then this is for you and your family! Castle Hill Lodge offers the peace and solitude of the countryside whilst being within easy reach of Queenstown, Te Anau and all their activities. We're set within 9 acres of grounds, with the sparkling Mataura River (great for trout fishing!) on our doorstep. There are also goats, Kune Kune Pigs and chickens on the land which will love being fed by any children that are here. Egg collection is prompt at 8am each day!! Or for adventure and activity we're a very scenic 40 minute drive into Queenstown, along the shores of Lake Wakatipu. We offer 3 en-suite rooms,one which has a double bed, double sofabed, rolltop bath and shower and it's own entrance out onto the decking area. There is a guest lounge with a TV, books and games, and a hearty cooked breakfast is included. Lunches and evening meals are also available on request. There's no shortage of space for the kids to play, and we have a deck and bbq for outdoor living on those warmer nights... more
