Sheltered in a private bush garden on a sunny slope overlooking the sea, Kanuka Cottage in Broad Bay is perfectly situated for exploring Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula. We have a double bedroom, a generous queen bedroom and a twin room, all with linen and electric blankets supplied as well as panoramic views of the bay. The large lounge, with log burner, TV, music, books and games, has doors leading to the sheltered deck and garden. Close to safe swimming beach and canoes are available to hire.

Family run, rural accommodation, overlooking Otago Harbour. We’re close to penguin and albatross viewing yet within 30 minutes of Central Dunedin. We offer spacious, 2 bedroom cottage units, that have wonderful views and are fully self-contained. The units can sleep up to 6 people and are located on 8 acres of land on which we graze a small flock of sheep. This provides plenty of space for the children to run around, while the local beach is just a few minutes away. Look no further for a friendly slice of New Zealand’s South Island!
