Silverstream Alpaca Stud has available two luxurious self contained farmstay units that sleep up to four persons per unit. Each unit has two bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge, modern kitchen and a carport. The units open out onto a patio that overlooks the alpacas housed in the nearby paddocks. There is an outdoor barbecue, petanque, a basketball hoop and a trampoline for the kids. There is table tennis and plenty of board games not to mention plenty of interesting walks. Ballymoney is a century old farmhouse with modern amenities situated 20 minutes drive from Christchurch City and the Airport. We have two guest studios: Manuka Suite - King/Twin bed + private veranda, ensuite and adjoining small double room with own bathroom (with bath) and Kowhai Studio (separate from main house) Queen + single bed and ensuite. Both suites can have a cot/rollaway added in. Facilities include fridge (stocked with complimentary beer/champagne/juice), tea/coffee and TV. Breakfast is included in room rate and we can cater for lunch, picnics and dinner by arrangement (extra cost, but children eat free if they dine between 5pm and 6pm). Our house includes two cosy guest sitting rooms with open fire and TV, and we've kids' and adults' movies, toys and books to entertain. Outside we have expansive areas for playing or relaxing, including a BBQ, pizza oven, spa pool, croquet, bowls and bikes. Our farm animals love visitors and include cattle, sheep, pigs, a donkey plus household favourites, our two fox terriers, golden retriever and Molly the cat. Qualmark 4* plus.... more
