A Nest on Mount Pleasant
The Nest is situated in one of Christchurch’s most loved hill suburbs, nestled in a garden of native bush with views from the living areas of our Estuary, Sea and Mountains (snow covered in the winter) beyond. Our bed and breakfast is a unique self-contained home, yet with all the service and friendly, personal hospitality of any homestay. Kingfisher House Bed & Breakfast
Ideal for a family of up to four, we offer spacious, comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation with double and two single beds, ensuite shower, TV, tea/coffee facilities and your own external access to courtyard and gardens. A collection of books, toys and games and outdoor toys are available for your use. Our garden is ideal to set up a game of kiwi cricket, and we have scooters, jungle jim and swing to play on. |
Pete's Farmstay - Rangiora
Enjoy a typical Kiwi experience at Pete's Farm. This is a working sheep and cattle farm and you're invited to watch the shearing and sheep dog demo, feed our friendly farm animals or visit our new lambs (lambing season is July to October). We're located in Canterbury, just 25 - 30 minutes from Christchurch city and airport, and well-positioned for excursions to Hanmer Springs, Kaikoura, West Coast and local ski fields. Enjoy stunning views of the mighty Southern Alps from our front garden, while the beaches are just 15 minutes drive away! Dinner available on request. Airport pick ups available. On-site activities include Farm Tour and visit to our farm wool shop. |
