Other Stuff - We are pet and particularly dog friendly and depending on size and temperament we should be able to accommodate your dog either in our purpose built enclosure or on the deck outside your room.
We will provide dinner, lunch or packed lunches by arrangement.If you want to do your own BBQ then our guest BBQ is available at no extra charge.

About Karekare - black sand beach, famous for featuring in Jane Campion's movie, 'The Piano'.  Beautiful location for walks, picnics or bbqs, surfing or fishing.  Caution is advised if swimming.   Small Kiwi community.
About Piha - NZ's most famous surf beach!   Again, caution is advised when swimming, and always swim within patrolled areas.  Great coffee at the Piha shop and Piha Surf Club provides a bar and restaurant with children's menu, for evening dining.
