Te Aroha Holiday Park and Cottages
Te Aroha is a pretty rural town that makes a great base for exploring the Waikato area, Coromandel and Tauranga, all within an hour's drive! The Holiday Park was established from a 100 year old homestead with stately oak trees providing plenty of shade. Accommodation includes powered camp sites, comfy wooden cabins and fully serviced family cottages sleeping up to six people. All cabins and cottages have a television and some cooking facilities. We have 2 hot pools, one with Hydro jets ideal to massage any sore joints from the long drive and a pure mineral water hot tub, set in the rocks, with seating for 6 and open all season. You might just be blown away by the umbrella of stars and our stunning sunsets on a cold winter's night sitting in the hot mineral water. The children's play area incorporates tree swings and a trampoline. For rainy days, there is a family room which has toys and books. Older kids can pick up our free of charge wireless signal from most places to keep them entertained.... more |
Te Mata Lodge - Thames Coast
Situated between Thames and the Coromandel and set in a valley with a rocky stream and three sandy swimming holes, Te Mata Lodge is minutes from the coast. A trail through the bush leads to the beach, garden and picnic areas. There are four one and two bedroom self contained cottages and five cabins with separate facilities. The cottages sleep up to six comfortably and have satellite TV, and fully equipped kitchens. The cabins sleep up to six and have a lounge room with video. Guests have free use of kayaks, river shoes, gold pans and sports equipment and BBQs. Breakfast baskets, light meals and BBQ packs are available. |
Tidewater Tourist Park - Coromandel
This motel is situated in the heart of Coromandel Town overlooking the harbour. The accommodation comprises six ground floor units with individual units and own balcony. The rooms are all self-contained with TV and radio. There is an outdoor barbecue area and children’s playground and private family sauna. A 20 bed backpacker hostel is also available. |
