Catelli’s of Taupo
Two minutes stroll to the lake edge and a five minute walk to the town centre, this motel offers a peaceful stay and is ideal for a family holiday. Their spacious fully contained ground floor units sleep one to four guests and havean in-room spa bath or pool, SKY TV and fully equipped kitchenette in all suites. The family suite has a separate queen bedroom and two single beds in the large lounge and a cot and high chair are available on request. The two bedroomed suite has two separate bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living room, plus a private courtyard. Catelli’s also has a children’s playground, garden area and BBQ facilities. |
Great Lake Holiday Park
Located in five acres of sheltered park-like grounds, this holiday park is situated close to all the northern boat ramps. They have a variety of accommodation to suit everyone from tent sites to self-contained units,and a portacot, highchair and baby bath are available. There is a children’s playground with trampolines, volleyball, and a games room/TV room open from 9am to 9pm. A barbecue area is free to use at your leisure. The town centre with shopping, cafes and restaurants is within 3 kilometres of the park. |
Ashbrook Motel
Quiet and centrally located, Ashbrook Motel offers a choice of accommodation including superior luxury one and two bedroom suites, all with full kitchen facilities. Ashbrook is a short stroll from Taupo’s town centre and has ample parking for boats, caravans and campervans. There is a playground for the children and highchairs and cots are available. |
Dunrovin Motel
One of Taupo’s original motels, Dunrovin is set away from the main highway and has a peaceful garden and ample off-road parking but is only 600 metres from the lake and 700 metres from the two centre. There are three two-bedroomed family units which sleep up to five people plus one bedroom and studio units sleeping one to three people. A swing, trampoline and playhouse will keep the children entertained. |
Huka Village
Huka Village Resort is a four star hotel situated on the edge of Taupo. Set amongst a seven acre apple and pear orchard and only a few minutes drive to Huka Falls, the resort offers a range of accommodation in colonial style villas. A two bedroomed villa sleeps up to six people (or four adults) and has a queen sized bed, two single beds and daybeds. Highchairs and cots are available. There is a nine hole pitc and Putt course, outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, volley ball and petanque court. |
