Te Aroha Holiday Park and Cottages
Te Aroha is a pretty rural town that makes a great base for exploring the Waikato area, Coromandel and Tauranga, all within an hour's drive! The Holiday Park was established from a 100 year old homestead with stately oak trees providing plenty of shade. Accommodation includes powered camp sites, comfy wooden cabins and fully serviced family cottages sleeping up to six people. All cabins and cottages have a television and some cooking facilities. We have 2 hot pools, one with Hydro jets ideal to massage any sore joints from the long drive and a pure mineral water hot tub, set in the rocks, with seating for 6 and open all season. You might just be blown away by the umbrella of stars and our stunning sunsets on a cold winter's night sitting in the hot mineral water. The children's play area incorporates tree swings and a trampoline. For rainy days, there is a family room which has toys and books. Older kids can pick up our free of charge wireless signal from most places to keep them entertained.... more |
Silver Sands - Waihi Beach
Fantastic location - just 1 min to Waihi Beach! Silver Sands offers a 2 bedroom holiday apartment situated on the ground floor of a two storey house, and sleeping up to 7. One bedroom with Queen bed, the other with bunk + single. Sofa pullout, rollaway and cot also available. The apartment comes complete with all you need for your holiday. Full kitchen, lounge with TV and DVD (children's movies and toys available), heat pump, wireless internet, telephone available, washing machine, outdoor living with bbq. The lawn is spacious and fenced, with room for children to run around and extra space to pitch a tent or park a boat. All this is just a minute from 10kms of sandy, safe beach. There's surf lifesaving at one end, and also children's playground nearby. Purangi Garden Homestay - Hahei
Situated at the Purangi River mouth and opposite Cooks Beach, Purangi Garden Homestay is set on the water’s edge. Cafés, shops and Cathedral Cove are 8 minutes drive away. They have a trampoline, swings, pool, pets and books and toys for the children. Safe swimming and coastal walks are nearby. Purangi House sleeps up to 10 and a cot is available on request. |
Coromandel Colonial Cottages Motel
Situated in Coromandel Town, this motel is the closest to all the major tourist attractions. The motel has 8 self contained cottages set in one and a half acres of peaceful gardens. Each cottage has its own balcony with stunning bush views and TV. There is a large solar heated swimming pool and children’s playground with a trampoline, swings and outdoor table tennis, as well as a covered BBQ and guest laundry.
