Te Aroha Holiday Park and Cottages
Te Aroha is a pretty rural town that makes a great base for exploring the Waikato area, Coromandel and Tauranga, all within an hour's drive! The Holiday Park was established from a 100 year old homestead with stately oak trees providing plenty of shade. Accommodation includes powered camp sites, comfy wooden cabins and fully serviced family cottages sleeping up to six people. All cabins and cottages have a television and some cooking facilities. We have a 16m long swimming pool, allowing diving at the deep end as well as a safe and shallow toddlers' pool. We also have a pure mineral water hot tub, set in the rocks, with seating for 6 and open all season. The children's play area incorporates tree swings and a trampoline. For rainy days, there is a family room which has toys and books. Older kids can pick up our free of charge wireless signal from most places to keep them entertained. ... more |
Best Summit Motor Lodge Motel
Five minutes drive from the city centre, this motel is conveniently located for family holidays and offer spacious, quality accommodation. Ground and upper floor units are available. The two bedroom apartment opens out onto a small grassy courtyard with a picnic table and your own private outdoor space. There is a swimming pool and barbecue area with sun loungers and seating and a games area with table tennis and pool table. Shops, cafes and restaurants are a short drive away |
Waihi Beach Top 10 Holiday Park
Waihi Beach Top 10 Holiday Park was established in the early 1920s and is set in a mature beautiful setting of trees and plants. Waihi Beach Top 10 Holiday Park provides a variety of accommodation from campsites to basic cabins or luxurious motel units. Kitchen cabins and motel units have a fully equipped kitchen and television. Kitchen cabins sleep up to six guests while the newer park motel suites offer a range of bedding options for up to eight guests. A swimming pool, due to be completed in August, will incorporate two training lanes, a children’s play area and a fun slide. They also have an under fives family room which has an indoor playgym, a rocking horse, toys and books and a widescreen television. Older children can feed the pet eels from the bridge in the park and the playground and jumping pillow, games room and dartboard will help to keep them entertained. This modern complex has 20 units offering accommodation up to six guests. The units have fully equipped kitchens, Sky TV and videos and DVD players are also available. They have a heated swimming pool, trampoline, basketball hoop and barbecue area. |
Roselands Motel
This motel is the closest to Tauranga harbour and just five minutes walk to the city centre, cafes and restaurants and ten minutes away from the white surf beaches of Mount Maunganui. There are ten units and their one bedroom unit can sleep up to four people. All units have fully equipped kitchens, microwaves and Sky TV and cots and highchairs are available free of charge. A gas BBQ is free for guests’ use and continental and cooked breakfasts are available on request. |
