Waikanae Beach Holiday Park
One of the best things about this holiday park is its fabulous location! As you can see from the photo, we're a stone's throw from the beach, and this is Gisborne's best family swimming beach, patrolled by surf lifesavers during holiday periods. We're also just a few minutes' stroll to the city centre, river, parks and bustling, buzzing wharf cafes. Right next door to the park there's a shop/cafe, well-stocked with coffee, ice cream, lunch food, as well as fresh fish and other dinner supplies. On site we have tennis courts by the sea, kayaks, boogie boards and surf boards for hire, tandem and mountain bikes, adventure playground, bbq, petanque, outdoor chess, games room and table tennis. This holiday home, just ten minutes drive from Gisborne, is only a hundred metres from the sand and surf at Wainui beach and is set in a private garden. The three bedrooms sleep up to nine comfortably, with queen, double, sofa beds and bunk beds. A BBQ is available for guests’ use and the home also has a DVD and TV. A café/bar is across the road and a local dairy for essentials is just 50 metres away. |
Valdez Motor Lodge
Set back from the main road, Valdez Motor Lodge has a range of 25 units sleeping up to seven people. Cooked or continental breakfasts are available and restaurants are within easy walking distance. A swimming pool and BBQ is available for guests’ use and Valdez also offers a child minding service. A cot and highchair can be supplied on request. |
Colonial Lodge Motel
Set in native park-like grounds, the Colonial Lodge Motel has units which sleep up to eight people. All suites have queen sized double beds and fully equipped kitchens plus Sky digital TV and DVD players.
