Waikanae Beach Holiday Park
One of the best things about this holiday park is its fabulous location! As you can see from the photo, we're a stone's throw from the beach, and this is Gisborne's best family swimming beach, patrolled by surf lifesavers during holiday periods. We're also just a few minutes' stroll to the city centre, river, parks and bustling, buzzing wharf cafes. Right next door to the park there's a shop/cafe, well-stocked with coffee, ice cream, lunch food, as well as fresh fish and other dinner supplies. On site we have tennis courts by the sea, kayaks, boogie boards and surf boards for hire, tandem and mountain bikes, adventure playground, bbq, petanque, outdoor chess, games room and table tennis. Palm City Motor Inn
Palm City Motor Inn offers a range of units and apartments. All units have comfortable queen beds and Sky TV. The restaurant has a children’s menu at $5.99 for chicken nuggets, hot dog, cheese burger or fish bites. A barbecue, outdoor swimming pool and a private indoor spa pool room are available for guests’ use and for children there is a play area with swings, slide and swing ball and a trampoline. DVDs can be hired and cots, highchairs and bassinettes can be supplied on request. Palm City is about 20 minutes walk to the inner city and less than 10 minutes drive from the nearest swimming beaches. |
